Rev Peter Conefrey was P.P. in Cloone From 1933-1939, He was a big fan of all things Irish, music. song, dance, storytelling, and boxty, and used to hold Ceili's in the parochial house, he also was one of the founders of the Cloone Ceili band. He was a local man born in Mohill and he moved to Drumgowna where he recieved his primary education. He died suddenly on 24 April 1939 and was buried in Farnaught Graveyard in a paupers coffin by his own request,
